Simon qualified from the University Newcastle upon Tyne in 2003. After undertaking a year of postgraduate study in general practice, he took up a post working in Oral and Facial surgery, firstly at the Sunderland Royal Hospital and then the Manchester Royal Infirmary. Simon returned to dental practice and helped to establish The DCO Dental Group in 2009. Simon enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in surgery, be it wisdom tooth removal or placing dental implants.

Away from dentistry, Simon has a variety of interests, which include: (very) amateur dramatics, cooking and playing football and more recently a part-time journalism course.

Simon works at both the Sale and Timperley practices.
