Sedation

What is Sedation?

Sedation is used to relax our patients and allow them to accept dental treatment without anxiety.

We carry out two forms of sedation in the practice to help you:

  • Inhalation sedation – using nitrous oxide and oxygen (gas and air) to help you relax
  • Intravenous sedation – using an injected sedative to relax you for treatment
